Now the government has taken major action on this. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has blocked 100 websites which were doing fraud in the name of part time jobs under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
According to the report, these sites were operated by foreign companies. Last week, the I4C division of the Home Ministry, through its vertical National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit (NCTAU), had identified more than 100 websites offering task-based part-time jobs and part-time jobs in the name of YouTube video likes and launched a crackdown on them. Ban was recommended.

They send the location of some hotel or some place and ask to give 5 star rating. People think that there is no problem in getting money for giving ratings on Google, but this is a scam of a different level.
As soon as you give a rating, your e-mail ID becomes public, because reviews on Google Maps are not private. These fraudsters ask you for links and screenshots after review. When it comes to giving money, they give a telegram number and ask you to share the screenshot of the review there and give a code. After this they take bank details and other information from people and then the fraud starts.
