Noida Metro Rail Corporation i.e. NMRC will very soon start the construction work of a new metro corridor connecting Noida with Greater Noida West (Noida Extension), which will extend up to Knowledge Park 5. For this, DPR has been approved in the board meeting of NMRC.
For a long time, people of housing society living in Greater Noida West were demanding metro in Noida Extension. Keeping in view the demand of the people, Noida Metro Rail Corporation had prepared DPR for the new metro corridor, which has been approved in the board meeting of NMRC. About 11 metro stations will be added in this new metro corridor, which will be built at a cost of Rs 2,991.60 crore, which will connect Noida from Greater Noida West to Knowledge Park 5. The length of this entire new metro corridor will be 17 points 435 kilometers.
The special thing is that people going directly from Delhi towards Greater Noida West will also get a big relief through this new metro corridor because both Noida Metro Rail Corporation and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) have negotiated to convert the Sector 61 Blue Line into this new metro corridor. Plans have been made to connect with the new metro corridor. Connecting with Sector 51 on Aqua Line, this metro corridor will start from Sector 61, which will be the interchange for Aqua Line and Blue Line, after that this metro corridor will extend from Greater Noida West to Greater Noida Knowledge Park 5 via Sector 70, Sector 122.
