Good news! Now you can go home on festivals by Vande Bharat and Tejas, know the schedule and timing

Indian Railways special trains: There is good news from Indian Railways for those going home during the festive season. Railways has given great relief to the passengers.

To ensure that long distance passengers do not face any problem in travelling, Railways has now announced to run Vande Bharat and Tejas trains from Delhi to Bihar and UP. Let us tell you that about 3000 special trains are already running on different routes.

People going home to celebrate the festival are not getting confirmed tickets in trains. Be it sleeper coach or AC coach, there is no space in any category. Trains going towards the east are the most crowded.

This is causing inconvenience to passengers. For their convenience, the railways are running special trains. In this series, the Northern Railway has announced to run semi high speed Vande Bharat Express and special Tejas Express for Patna.

New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Festival Special Express (02252/02251)

This special Vande Bharat Express will depart from New Delhi at 8.25 am on October 30, November 1, 3 and 6 and will reach Patna at 8 pm on the same day. On the return journey, this special train will depart from Patna at 7.30 am on October 31, November 2, 4 and 7 and will reach New Delhi at 7 pm on the same day. On the way, it will stop at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Ara railway stations. Eight chair car coaches will be installed in this special Vande Bharat Express.

New Delhi-Patna Tejas Festival Special (02248/02247)

Festival Special Tejas Express will depart from New Delhi at 8.25 am on October 29 and 31, November 2 and 5 and reach Patna at 8.30 pm on the same day. On return, it will depart from Patna at 7.30 am on October 30, November 1, 3 and 6 and reach New Delhi at 7.35 pm on the same day. En route, it will stop at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Ara railway stations. It will have unreserved, sleeper and AC class coaches.

This year the Railways is running 2944 trains.

Indian Railways has given a big relief to those going home during the festive season. In view of the problems faced by the passengers, the Railways is running special trains on different routes. Last year, from October 1 to November 30, Northern Railways had run a total of 1082 special trains.

This time 2944 festival special trains are being run. More than 80 percent of these trains are being run for Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This is 1862 more than last year. So that passengers do not have to face problems during the journey.
