We are saying this because a connecting metro corridor is going to be built between Sector-142 Metro Station of Aqua Line to Botanical Garden Metro Station of Magenta Line. For this, Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been prepared and submitted to the authorities for approval. Let us know who will benefit from the expansion of Metro?

What will happen after the DPR is approved?

A senior official said that after getting approval from Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority, the DPR will be presented in the next board meeting of Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). NMRC Managing Director Lokesh M said that after this the DPR will be sent for approval to the UP government and the Centre. DPR has been prepared for NMRC by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). NMRC operates ‘Aqua Line’ between Noida and Greater Noida.

Which stations will be connected?

According to DPR, Noida Sector 142 station already exists on the new line ‘Aqua Line’. This metro station will be connected to the Botanical Garden station of Delhi Metro. Know that Botanical Garden station is an interchange station for the Blue Line and Magenta Line of Delhi Metro.

List of new metro stations

According to the statement of NMRC, the total length of the proposed line will be 11.56 kilometers. It will cost Rs 2254.35 crore to build it. There will be eight new elevated stations on this metro line. Botanical Garden, Noida Sector 44, Noida Office, Sector 97, Sector 105, Sector 108, Sector 93, Panchsheel Balak Inter College and Sector 142. Sector 142 metro station is already present on it.

People of Delhi-Greater Noida will get this benefit

Lokesh M. said that this project will provide ease of connectivity to the people living in both Noida and Greater Noida cities. Will connect them to Delhi Metro network. Botanical Garden will serve as an interchange station between NMRC’s Aqua Line and DMRC’s Magenta and Blue Line. Senior officer Lokesh M. said that this project will be beneficial for all the passengers traveling between Noida-Greater Noida-Delhi.
