SpiceJet Haj Flights: Aviation company SpiceJet has got the right to operate Haj flights from 4 major Indian cities Kolkata, Guwahati, Srinagar and Gaya in 2025. With this, the airline will carry around 15,500 pilgrims next year. Which is a growth of 18 percent compared to the 13,000 pilgrims carried in 2024.
Revenue expected to be ₹185 crore
SpiceJet will operate over 100 special Hajj flights next year, using a mix of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. Hajj has been a significant revenue generator for SpiceJet, and the airline expects to earn ₹185 crore from these operations in 2025. SpiceJet has been successfully operating special annual Hajj flights since 2019.
Facilities will be increased for passengers in 2025
During the last Hajj season, SpiceJet deployed two wide-body Airbus A340 aircraft, each with a seating capacity of 324 passengers, to enhance the travel experience of pilgrims. In 2025, the airline is committed to further improving its services, and is making all the necessary arrangements to guarantee a comfortable and smooth journey for pilgrims.
