Post Office: Account holders are going to get a big benefit in the post office of Uttar Pradesh. Now money will be easily transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes in post offices.
This facility will benefit the common people especially the villagers. There are 15991 post offices in rural areas out of total 17883 post offices in the state. State Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has sent this letter to all the Additional Chief Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates.
NEFT service started in savings account
Like banks, NEFT service has started in the savings account of the post office. Along with this IFSC code has also been provided. Post offices and banks have been attached to this. Now mobile banking facility has also been provided along with internet banking for those having savings account in post office.
Under the new system, it will be easy to send money to the savings account in the post office. Along with this, you can also withdraw money. Aadhaar payment system is implemented in post offices. With this people will not have to waste their time in withdrawing money.
Rural areas will get benefit
The special thing is that where banking services are not available. Farmers and other people in those rural areas will get money through DBT from the post office. Due to which common people will be benefited. Transactions between post offices and banks will also be possible.
