It is allowing pensioners to submit their life certificates through a simple video call without any hassle from their homes. BoB shared the information via a tweet.
Life certificate is submitted in November. Life certificate can be submitted anytime in the whole month. If a pensioner fails to do so, his pension may be stopped. Although usually pensioners deposit it in banks but it can also be deposited in digital form.

from its official Twitter handle that you can resort to video call to submit your Annual Life Certificate. Through this facility, you can submit life certificate sitting at home only through video call.

- First of all click on the official website of the bank Bankofbaroda.com.
- After this enter the PPO number and account number from which your pension comes.
- Enter the One Time Password (OTP) received on your registered mobile number along with BOB and Aadhaar and click on submit button.
- After that choose any one of the given option.
- Now select Call Now or Later option.
- Â You will be made a video call by the bank and after that BOB agent will appear in front of you.
- Now you have to fill your photo ID and further details.
- OTP will come again on the registered mobile number of Aadhar, which should be re-entered.
- After this the bank submits your life certificate.
Through Door Step Service-
The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare said that pensioners can submit digital life certificates by using Doorstep Banking Alliance of 12 Public Sector Banks or Doorstep Service of Department of Posts. Doorstep Banking Alliance is an alliance between 12 public sector banks, which include State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank etc.
