There is good news for those who prefer traveling by Vande Bharat Express train. Big information has come to light regarding the train going from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand to New Delhi. Now this train will make its way to the national capital on Wednesday also.
According to the report of Amar Ulala, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Kalpana Saini herself has given this information. He told that there was a demand especially from the traders that the train should be operated on Wednesday. Due to its closure on this day, there is a problem in the movement of business.
Kalpana Saini said, ‘I had sent a proposal regarding this demand. The ministry has approved it. Actually, the operation of Dehradun-New Delhi Vande Bharat train remains closed one day a week. In such a situation, if this train runs on Wednesday then it can be stopped on any other day of the week.
The information on which day its operation will stop instead of Wednesday has not been revealed yet. At the same time, operation of passenger trains has stopped in Laksar, Haridwar since the Corona period. It is being told that these can be run again soon.
Know the timing of Dehradun-New Delhi Vande Bharat
Let us tell you that the operation of Uttarakhand’s first Vande Bharat Express started from 29 May 2023. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off this Vande Bharat train on May 25. After this its commercial service started. This train covers a distance of 302 kilometers which takes 4 hours 45 minutes.
This Vande Bharat train between Dehradun and New Delhi stops at a total of 5 stations which include Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut City railway stations. This Vande Bharat leaves Dehradun at 7 am and reaches Delhi at 11.45 am. At the same time, train number 22457 leaves from Delhi at 17:50 and reaches Dehradun at 22:35.
