TCS Hiring News: The country’s leading IT company Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) will appoint 40,000 freshers. This hiring will be campus based. This means that the company will do campus selection.
TCS COO N Ganapathy Subramaniam has said this. He said that the company is working on a plan to recruit 40,000 freshers in the current financial year. “We typically hire 35,000 to 40,000 people and those plans are still in place. We are moving in that direction,” he said. Let us tell you that TCS has 6.14 lakh employees.
These hirings are taking place in TCS at a time when this process is on hold in other companies in the IT sector. Recently, Infosys CFO Nilanjan Roy said that last year it had added 50,000 freshers and the company will not move to the campus until the demand increases.
Company stuck in hiring dispute
Tata Consultancy Services is in controversy regarding hiring scam. Recently the company has restricted business with six suppliers while laying off 16 employees. According to the company, 19 employees were found involved in the investigation, out of which 16 employees have been fired for violating the code of conduct and three employees have been removed from the responsibility of resource management. It said that six suppliers (vendors), their owners and associates have been banned from doing any business with TCS.
Work from home culture is over
Let us tell you that TCS has asked all its employees to come to the office and work, ending the work from home culture started during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the information, 70 percent of the employees have started coming to office.
