Employees, Bonus: There is good news for more than 1 lakh employees, they have been given the gift of bonus. An order for this has been given by the Finance Department. Under the order issued, a maximum of Rs 7000 will be provided to them as bonus. With the announcement of bonus before Diwali, there is an atmosphere of excitement among the employees.
Two days before Diwali, Uttarakhand government has given bonus benefits to more than 180000 of its employees. Bonus orders have been issued by the Finance Department on Friday evening. Employees will be paid bonus ranging from Rs 1184 to Rs 6908.
Issuing the order by Financial Additional Secretary Ganga Prasad, it has been said that all the Group B and C and Gazetted category employees of the state government, whose grade pay is Rs 4800, will be provided an amount of Rs 6908 as 30-day ad-hoc bonus.
Along with this, a big announcement has also been made regarding the bonus of employees working 6 days a week. 1184 will be issued to casual or daily wage employees who have worked for at least 240 days every year in the last 3 months or more. It has been clarified in the order that departmental disciplinary action is underway against them. There will be a ban on the bonus of such employees. This stay will continue until the outcome of the case is received.
However, the employees of Uttarakhand will have to wait a little for the increase in dearness allowance. The proposal for bonus has been approved by the Chief Minister but dearness allowance has not been increased at present. It is believed that by the end of November, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh will approve the proposal of 4% dearness allowance for employees and pensioners. With this, there will be an increase of 4% in the dearness allowance of employees across the state.
