Good news! Air India Express’ Kolkata-Hindon flight started, know the timing of the flight

Tata Group’s airline company Air India Express on Saturday started direct flights from Kolkata to Uttar Pradesh’s Hindon Airport. The first flight on the Kolkata-Hindon route landed at Hindon at 9.30 am. According to PTI news, the flight from Kolkata to Hindon will operate daily. While the flight from Hindon to Kolkata will operate six days a week except Saturday. Flights will take off from Kolkata at 7.10 am and reach Hindon at 9.30 am daily, while the return flights will depart from Hindon Airport at 5.20 pm and reach Kolkata at 7.40 pm.

Hindon airport will be connected to these cities

According to the news, Air India Express said that it will operate 40 weekly flights from Hindon, directly connecting Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Jammu and Kolkata. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu, who was present on the occasion, inaugurated the Air India Express services from Ghaziabad’s Hindon airport on Saturday. Air India Express Managing Director Alok Singh said that Hindon serves a vast catchment area covering the eastern and northern geography of Delhi-NCR apart from Ghaziabad and western parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Flights were started for here a few months ago

Air India Express launched a daily flight from Kolkata to Sri Vijayapuram (Port Blair) a few months ago. From December 15, the airline has introduced an additional daily flight on this route, providing twice a day connectivity between Kolkata and Sri Vijayapuram. Air India Group completed the merger of AIX Connect with Air India Express last year. The merged entity is expected to have a fleet of 100 aircraft by the end of March next year. The entity operates under the name Air India Express and airline code IX.
