Go First CEO Resigns: Kaushik Khona, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the closed aviation company Go First, which is going through financial crisis, has resigned from his post amid the bankruptcy proceedings of the airline. Khona has taken this decision about 7 months after filing the case for bankruptcy proceedings against Go First.
Khona said in an e-mail to airline employees on Thursday that November 30 is his last day at the company. He returned to Go First as CEO in August 2020.
Said this in the mail to the employees
Khona said in the e-mail, “With a heavy heart, I have to inform that today is my last day with the company. I got the opportunity to work for Go First once again in August 2020 and thank you for your capable and active With support I tried to perform to the best of my abilities.”
Earlier, he was with this airline from 2008 to 2011.
Let us tell you that Go First had stopped its flights in the beginning of May due to financial crisis and engine problem. Pratt & Whitney had filed for voluntary insolvency proceedings amid the financial crisis caused primarily by engine problems.
