Passports of students studying in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) will be made free of cost. Instructions have been issued to make passports for students to promote skill education.
So that if a student wants to go abroad after completing the course in ITI, he does not face any problem. The amount of Rs 1500 spent on passport will be given by the department. Students taking admission under the new session will get full benefit of this.

ITI Free Passport: These conditions have to be fulfilled
- Students applying for passport through the Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training should be permanent residents of Haryana. Or they should have passed 10th class from Haryana Board of School Education.
- Attendance during the course in ITI is mandatory to be 80%.
- An admit card must be issued by the Institute to appear in the final examination of the course and he/she must appear in the examinations in accordance with all the rules.
- Application must be made three months before the final examination. Also, students should not already have a passport.

ITI Principal Jaideep Kadian said that passports of the students are to be made free of cost. After getting the passports made, the students can apply for jobs abroad as well after completing the course at ITI.
