LPG Cylinder: Crores of people are going to get free LPG cylinder on the occasion of Holi. In fact, in November 2023, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had started the free LPG cylinder refill distribution campaign under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana for 1.75 crore eligible families of the state. Under this scheme, there is a plan to provide free LPG cylinders to the beneficiary category twice a year. Last November, free LPG cylinders were given on the occasion of Diwali. Now the beneficiary class will get this gift in Holi also.

Earlier this subsidy was Rs 200, which was increased by additional Rs 100 only last year. In this way a subsidy of Rs 300 is available. This subsidy will continue to be available till 31 March 2025. Recently the government had reduced the prices of LPG cylinders by Rs 100. After this deduction, LPG cylinder is available for general customers in Delhi at a price of Rs 803.
