According to media report, that there may be a big change in the salary of central employees under the Seventh Pay Commission next year.

Fitment Factor Update: There has been a demand from the central employees to increase the fitment factor (Basic Salary) for a long time. Now great news is coming for such employees. If you or any of your family are central employees, then this news is going to bring great news for them.

There will be a big change in the salary structure as soon as there is a change in the fitment factor. Zee Media has received news quoting sources that there may be a big change in the salary of central employees under the 7th Pay Commission next year.

Minimum salary will be Rs 26000, Central government employees currently get 38 percent dearness allowance. The government is considering changing the fitment factor. On the basis of this, the minimum salary of the employees is decided. At present, the minimum salary of the employees is 18 thousand rupees. If a decision is taken on this, then it will increase to Rs 26000. It is expected that the government can take this decision in the budget to be presented next year.

Fitment factor will be raised to 3.68 times!

If this is agreed, then the basic salary of more than 52 lakh central employees will increase under the fitment factor. Government employees have been demanding for a long time to increase the fitment factor. Central employees are being given a fitment factor of 2.57 percent. It can be increased to 3.68 times.

On increasing it from 2.57 to 3.68, the minimum basic salary will increase from 18 thousand to 26 thousand rupees.

Announcement to increase Dearness Allowance on 28th September Earlier, the government has also announced a 4 percent increase in Dearness Allowance on 28th September. Earlier DA was 34, which has now increased to 38 percent. Employees are also getting three months’ arrears on Dearness Allowance implemented from July 1, 2022. After the announcement of DA by the central government, many state governments have announced to increase the dearness allowance.
