The bank has come up with a special FD scheme for super senior citizens, in which super citizens are getting 0.80% higher interest rate than common citizens. The special thing is that senior citizens are getting this special offer on FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years.
PNB Offering Highest Interest Rate to Senior Citizens Generally most banks offer 0.50% higher interest rate to senior citizens, but PNB is offering 0.80% higher interest rate to super citizen (above 80 years) customers. At the same time, the bank is offering 0.50% more interest to senior citizens aged 60 to 79.
Super senior getting this interest rate on getting FD in PNB-
This special FD scheme of bank super senior was launched on 13 September 2022. Under this scheme, customers above 80 years are offering 3.80% interest on FDs of 7 to 14 days on deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. Bank 3.80% on 15 to 29 day FD, 3.80% on 30 to 45 day FD, 4.05% on 46 to 90 day FD, 4.80% on 91 to 179 day FD, 5.30% on 180 to 270 day FD , is offering 5.30% interest rate on FDs of 271 days to 1 year, 6.30% on FDs of 1 year, 6.30% on FDs of 1 to 404 days.
At the same time, the bank is offering 6.90% interest rate on FD of 405 days to super senior citizens. At the same time, 6.30% on FDs of 406 days to 2 years, 6.40% on FDs from 2 to 3 years, 6.55% on FDs from 3 to 5 years, 6.45% on FDs from 5 to 10 years and 1111 days It is offering 6.55% interest rate on FD.
