EPFO has started the process of depositing the interest for the financial year 2022-23 in the accounts of the subscribers. Soon the interest money will start coming in the PF account of the users. EPFO itself has given this information. Actually, a Twitter user had asked EPFO about the interest. In response to that, EPFO has commented and assured that they will get the interest money soon.
EPFO wrote on Twitter, “The process is in the pipeline, interest will be credited soon. The entire interest will be credited to the account and there will be no loss of interest. Please be patient. It is worth mentioning that recently the government had announced to give 8.15 percent interest on Provident Fund (PF) account for the financial year 2022-23.

Check balance sitting at home

Find out the balance in minutes by giving a missed call
To know the PF balance by missed call, the mobile number of the account holder should be registered with EPFO. PF subscriber has to give a missed call on 011-22901406 from the registered mobile number to get the balance information by missed call. After some time, account information will come on your mobile via SMS.
Get information through SMS
To know PF balance through SMS, SMS to 7738299899 from the mobile number registered with EPFO. For this, EPFO UAN LAN (language) has to be typed. Here LAN means language. If you want information in English, then write ENG instead of LAN. For information in Hindi, write HIN instead of LAN. To get account information in Hindi, write EPFOHO UAN HIN and send it to 7738299899. After some time the message of PF balance will come on your mobile.

To see PF balance online, one has to visit EPF Passbook portal. One has to log on to this portal through UAN and password. After this click on Download/View Passbook. After doing this, the passbook will open in front of you in which you can see the balance.
