It is valid for one full year from the date of submission. For example, if a person has submitted his life certificate in March 2022, then he will have to submit this certificate again in the month of March 2023.

You can submit this certificate both online and offline. You can go to the bank or post office to submit the offline certificate. You will have to fill a form by going there. Along with this, you will have to show PAN card and Aadhaar card as your ID. After this your life certificate will be easily submitted. You can also submit life certificate from home Apart from offline, old people can also submit their life certificate while sitting at home. You do not need to go to the bank for this. More than 12 public sector banks across the country are providing door step banking facility to their customers. Apart from this, you can also avail the services of these banks online. Apart from this, the postal department is also giving its customers the facility to submit digital life certificates.
