EPFO: There is news of work for the retiring government employees. The government has decided to give all types of pension benefits on retirement at the earliest. The Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances (Personnel Public Grievances & Pensions) has directed the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare to provide pension benefits etc. on the day of retirement. EPFO has started Nirbadh Seva under which the employee will get all the benefits on the date of retirement.
EPFO launched seamless service
EPFO tweeted that ‘Seamless Service’ by EPFO - Subscribers will be able to take Pension Payment Order (PPO) on the day of retirement. This will benefit 3 lakh employees retiring every year.

getting late pension

Government gave instructions
The government directed all the departments to get the retirement money late. Work will be done to settle pension matters. Pension will be paid to them on the day of retirement itself. They will get all the benefits only in the farewell ceremony of the employee. The department will have to work on the pension of the employees retiring in the next six months in advance, so that they can get the benefit of retirement. If any department finds a case of delay in the pension process, then it will have to inform it further.
