Employees Transfer Rule: Let us tell you that the Yogi government of UP has recently implemented the new transfer policy (2023-24) after the approval of the cabinet. According to this, with the permission of the departmental minister, the head of the department will be able to transfer by June 30.
In Uttar Pradesh, it will be mandatory for the employees and officers serving under the state government to join their new postings within 7 days of transfer or by the date fixed. If even after being transferred, an officer does not relieve the employee serving under him or an employee/officer does not take charge on the new posting within 7 days or due date, action will be taken considering it as indiscipline.
However, some relief has been given for 8 aspirational districts of the state, Bundelkhand and 100 aspirational development blocks of 34 districts. Action will be taken against the officers who are not relieved
As per the new transfer policy, the transferee will have to join the new post without waiting for the replacement within a week of the issue of transfer order and the concerned authority will have to relieve the transferred personnel immediately. Non-relief of the transferred personnel within the stipulated time will be seen as indiscipline and departmental action will be taken against the officers who do not release the concerned personnel by not following the transfer orders.
Will have to take charge in due time
At the same time, guidelines have also been given for the transferred personnel in the new transfer policy. According to this, if the transferred personnel do not take charge of the newly posted post within the stipulated time, they will be automatically relieved. That is, they will not be able to continue their work on the old posting. Not only this, disciplinary action will also be taken against the transferred personnel for not taking charge at the appointed time at the place of new posting.
Special exemption to aspirational districts and development blocks
In the new transfer policy, along with aspirational districts and development blocks, special attention has been given to the districts of Bundelkhand. According to this, the personnel posted in 08 districts and all the districts of Bundelkhand, related to the aspirational district plan of the state announced by the Government of India, will not be released by their controlling authorities until their replacement takes charge. This restriction will not apply to IAS/IPS/IFS/PCS and PPS officers.
Similarly, the personnel posted in 100 aspirational development blocks of 34 districts of the state declared by the Government of India will not be relieved by their controlling authorities until their replacements take charge. All the vacant posts in aspirational districts and aspirational development blocks will be filled on priority.
