Officer Promotion: There is good news for the government employees and officers of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Before Diwali, both the state governments have given the gift of promotion to officers of different departments.
On one hand, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has issued notification for promotion of 73 revenue employees to the posts of Revenue Officer and equivalent posts. On the other hand, 14 inspectors and 493 sub-inspectors have been promoted, DGP Headquarters has issued an order in this regard.

According to the information, on the basis of seniority in Uttar Pradesh, 14 sub-inspectors have been promoted to the post of Inspector (Civil Police) and 493 chief constables have been promoted to the post of Sub-Inspector. Three police sub-inspectors (confidential) have been promoted to the post of Inspector (confidential). DGP Headquarters has issued orders in this regard.
Those who became inspectors after getting promotion from sub-inspector include Devendra Singh, Manoj Kumar, Ranjit Kumar Yadav, Suresh Chandra Sharma, Jitendra Kumar Sharma, Nareshpal Singh, Rajneesh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Mohammad Sartaj, Narendra Kumar Kuril, Pramod Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav and Mahesh Singh are included. An order has been issued to promote 493 Chief Constable Civil Police to the post of Sub Inspector Civil Police at their current place of posting.
Gift of promotion to 73 employees of Revenue Department
The Revenue and Land Reforms Department of Bihar has given promotion to 73 revenue employees to the posts of Revenue Officer and equivalent posts. Similarly, 65 Revenue Officers of the Revenue Service have been promoted to Circle Officer and equivalent grade with pay level 9 with effect from October 31.
