Employees Leave Rules: Bihar government has implemented a new rule regarding leave for the state government employees. Now it will be mandatory for all employees to apply for leave at least 7 days in advance. This rule will apply to about 6 lakh government employees, which will improve administrative work and the decision making process will be able to run more smoothly.
Earlier, employees used to apply only two-three days before the leave, which caused difficulty to the officials in approving and managing other tasks. To solve this problem, the government has implemented this new guideline.
key points:
- The government has directed all departments, divisional commissioners and district magistrates to strictly follow this rule.
- When leave applications were received late, there was delay in its approval and administrative process.
- Now by applying 7 days in advance, leave management will be more effective and government work will not be disrupted.
