Approval has been given to increase the dearness allowance of state employees from 203 per cent to 212 per cent on the basis of sub-inspector pay scale. Apart from this, approval has been given for dearness relief from July 1, 2022, to family pensioners and pensioners of the sixth pay scale.
Under the Sixth Pay Commission, the cabinet has given approval to increase the rate of dearness relief to the pensioners-family pensioners of the state.
Apart from this, approval has also been given for creation of 496 posts in the cabinet meeting. Earlier, under the seventh pay scale, there was a huge increase of 4 percent in the dearness allowance of the employees. Along with the 4 per cent increase in their dearness relief, it was made effective from July 1. Whereas 193000 employees are getting its benefits. Now the dearness allowance and dearness relief of the employees have been increased under the Sixth Pay Commission.
