Payment of arrears in 12 equal installments-
Successful discussions were held with the management on Saturday by the employees of the Electricity Department in Hyderabad. After which it has been announced to withdraw the strike. The proposed 7% fitment to the employees has been agreed upon. It has also been agreed upon to pay the Pay Revision Commission dues to the employees in 12 equal installments.
Payment of house rent allowance equal to that of the employees.
Apart from this, it has also been agreed to offer them 3 increments as service weightage. Along with this, house rent allowance will also be paid to the employees. They will be paid House Rent Allowance at par with state government employees. At the same time, the amount of gratuity has been increased from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 16 lakh. Also, pension will be paid as per the decision of the state government. Important discussions have been held in the meeting.
Increase in medical allowance-
For Indian employees between 1999 and 2004, a report has to be submitted to the state government. Medical allowance has been increased from the present Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh. Along with this, there will be a big increase in their salary. With this, their salary can increase up to Rs.40,000.
