Bihar Govt Diwali Bonus: Giving a gift to lakhs of government employees of Bihar government, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has instructed to pay salary before Diwali. Anand Kishore, Principal Secretary, Finance Department of Bihar Government has written a letter on Monday and instructed to release salary to all state employees from October 25.
It has been told that after the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, the Bihar government has issued a special order for all the employees of the state keeping in mind Diwali and Chhath festival.
In a letter written by the Finance Department to the Governor and other related departments, it is said, “Keeping in mind Diwali and Chhath, the State Government has decided to pay the salary of the month of October to all the officers and employees from October 25 itself.”
Instructions to make payment from October 25
It is further written in the letter that this decision is under the provisions contained in Rule 141 of the Bihar Treasury Code 2011. Hence, it is requested that in compliance with the said decision, the payment of salary of the officers and employees for the month of October should be ensured from October 25.
UP government also issued an order.
In view of the festival, the salary of UP government employees will also be released on October 30. Orders have been issued in this regard. The UP government has ordered to release the salary of state employees before Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj. After this, the state’s Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar has issued an order to pay the salary.
