The electricity department has launched a big scheme for bill payment for electricity consumers living in Noida. The scheme has a first come first serve rule.
Chief Engineer of Gautam Budh Nagar, Rajeev Mohan said that under this scheme of the Electricity Department, maximum rebate will be given to the consumers who pay the outstanding amount of their electricity bill by December 31. Through this, the electricity department will get a good amount of revenue. At the same time, electricity consumers will also be able to get the benefit of the discount given.
Actually, the state government and the corporation have implemented a very attractive scheme which the consumers were eagerly waiting for. One Time Settlement Scheme has been implemented from 8th November and will continue till 31st December. But it has been implemented in three phases from 8th November to 30th November, from 1st December to 15th December and the third phase is from 16th December to 31st December.
Giving information about how much discount will be given,
Chief Engineer of Electricity Department, Rajeev Mohan said that under this scheme launched in three phases, all the consumers will pay the electricity bills in the first phase. They will be able to get up to 100% discount.
While in the second phase, 80% to 90% discount will be available, in the third phase, a provision of 50% to 20% discount has been made to the consumers who paid the dues between December 16 to December 31. The objective of the scheme is that consumers who pay the outstanding amount as soon as possible get the benefit of maximum discount.
All consumers can avail the benefits
of this scheme. LMB1, LMB2, LMB3, LMB4, LMB4, LMB5, LMB6 are included in it. Householders and shopkeepers as well as farmers with private tube wells can avail its benefits. Along with this, the victimized consumers who are registered in 135 cases of theft under this scheme can also avail the benefits of this scheme. The scope of this scheme is very large this time so that consumers can avail maximum benefits.
Along with this, let us tell you that HB1 and HB2, which fall in the industrial category and are in the high voltage category, above LMB, have been kept away from this scheme. Except industrial units, all types of electricity consumers have been kept under the ambit of this scheme so that they can get maximum benefits.
