30-31 March Holiday Cancelled: All the Sub-Registrar offices of the Registration and Stamps Department in Rajasthan will remain open on Saturday-Sunday and Monday (March 31), which are also holidays in the state.
Collector (Stamps) and Deputy Inspector General of Registration Jaipur Gordhan Lal Sharma said that the Sub-Registrar offices will remain open on March 29, 30, 31.
Where all the documents will be registered on the working day. Here, to implement the budget announcement, a sub-registrar’s office will be opened at every district headquarters from 8 am to 8 pm on every Monday and Friday. This is being started from March 28.
There will be many holidays in April too.
There were many holidays in March, now there is a long list of holidays in April too, in which Ram Navami is on April 6. Then there will be Mahavir Jayanti on April 10, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti on April 11 and Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, after this there will be Good Friday on April 18 and Parashuram Jayanti on 29. With this, there will be many holidays including some Saturdays and Sundays.
There are only a few days left for the end of the financial year 2024-25 and with it, the festival of Eid is also coming on the last day of the financial year i.e. 31 March 2025. Every year, banks in the country remain closed on the occasion of Eid, but this time the RBI has taken a different step. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has instructed to keep it open on Monday, 31 March 2025. Banks will remain open even despite Eid. These instructions will be applicable to all banks that handle government transactions. This decision has been taken by the RBI to properly settle the transactions of the financial year 2024-25.
Why was March 31 a holiday earlier?
Actually, banks were to remain closed in almost all states on March 31, 2025 due to Ramadan Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr). Banks will remain open only in Himachal Pradesh and Mizoram. But now the government has ordered banks to remain open to ensure smooth flow of financial transactions.
