Who can get a driving license?

How long is a driving licence valid?

The validity period of a driving license is 20 years from the date of issue of the license or till the license holder reaches the age of 40 years (whichever is earlier). When the license validity becomes 40 years, then the license is issued for 10 years. After the age of 50, it becomes necessary to renew the license every 5 years.
