Driving License New Guidelines: Now important changes have been made in the rules for obtaining a driving license in Bihar. From March 2025, it will be mandatory to take the exam on the testing track for driving license in all districts. This step has been taken with the aim of increasing road safety and transparency. At present, this facility is applicable in Patna and Aurangabad, but now there is a plan to implement it in 36 districts.
Mandatory track exams for transparency and security
Through the testing track, now applicants will have to give a road test under the surveillance of CCTV cameras after applying online. The main purpose of this system is to provide licenses only to those candidates who are capable of driving and follow traffic rules. The department believes that this will curb the practice of giving licenses without tests, which will improve road safety.
Testing tracks are being built in Bihar
Construction of testing tracks has been completed in 26 districts of the state. These include districts like Motihari, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur. Construction work is going on in the remaining 10 districts and the target has been set to complete them by March. This new system will increase transparency in driving licenses and road accidents are likely to decrease.
Important information about the driving test process

The candidate will have to prove his driving ability, follow road safety measures and follow rules like traffic signals properly.
