One of these rules is also about luggage. That is, how much luggage can a passenger carry with him during a journey in Delhi Metro. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has set a limit for this. No passenger can carry more luggage than that limit.

According to DMRC rules, a passenger can carry luggage weighing up to 25 kg while travelling in Delhi Metro. A fine can be imposed for carrying more luggage than this. Earlier this limit was 15 kg. Along with this, a limit has also been set on the size of luggage in Delhi Metro. Passengers can only carry bags in the metro. The size of which should not be more than 80 cm x 50 cm x 30 cm. More than this is not allowed.

You cannot carry luggage in bundles in Delhi Metro. Apart from this, you cannot carry bicycles, large items like furniture in the metro. Apart from this, guns, pistols, rifles, revolvers or any kind of firearms are not allowed.

Apart from this, you cannot carry any flammable solid material, wet batteries and pets in the metro. Passengers and their luggage are checked as soon as they enter the Delhi Metro. That is why it is important to follow the rules.
