Digital Life Certificate: Pensioners have to submit Digital Life Certificate every year before 30 November. For your pension to come on time, it is necessary for you to submit your life certificate, after that the Pension Disbursement Authority, which includes banks, post offices and other financial institutions, issues your pension.
You can submit this certificate online or in person. The best thing is that your Aadhaar-linked pension / savings account should be open anywhere, you can get your work done in any branch of your bank or any other bank across the country. Although everything should be fine in your form, two details are especially important. If these are wrong then your application may be rejected.
What are the things you need to submit the Digital Life Certificate?
The pensioner must have an Aadhaar number.
Must already have an active mobile number.
Your Aadhaar number should already be registered with the Pension Disbursing Agency (Bank, Post Office and other financial institutions).
– Biometric devices
– Windows 7.0 PC and Android 4.0 above mobiles and tablets
– Internet connectivity
Why your digital life certificate can be rejected in the bank
Your life certificate can be rejected in the bank for two reasons. First, if the Aadhaar number is not updated in the records of your bank or the details of the Aadhaar number have gone wrong in your application, then your certificate may be rejected.
Second, if the pensioner’s account details have been wrongly entered by you or by the bank’s staff, your form will not be processed and will be rejected.
The form is processed at the bank and the bank will send its confirmation to the registered mobile number within 2-3 days. If any situation arises due to the reasons mentioned above, then you will be informed about it and you will have to fix the problem and re-submit the life certificate.
