Due to this, many times they are not able to submit their life certificate on time, due to which their pension gets stuck. Therefore, now the central government has started the Digital Life Certificate Scheme for the convenience of pensioners. The Central Government

is running a month-long campaign in November to allow pensioners to submit their digital life certificates (DLC). This campaign will provide a lot of convenience to millions of senior citizens of the country. Service will be available from home The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) is organizing Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 3.0 in 800 cities and districts.

In which pensioners of central and state governments, EPFO ​​​​and autonomous bodies will be able to submit DLC through digital means or through doorstep services. Door-to-door help will be provided to super senior pensioners. The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) organized a campaign at 37 locations in 2022.

Then 1.41 crore DLCs were generated. In 2023, this campaign was extended to 100 locations, in which more than 1.47 crore DLCs were generated. Alternative options will be available for pensioners who cannot access the digital platform. They can still submit their life certificates in the old ways, like by visiting the pension office or using post office services. For face authentication of Digital Life Certificate (DLC) using Jeevan Pramaan app, you can follow the steps given below: Download Aadhaar Face RD App

  • First of all, download ‘Aadhaar Face RD’ from Google Play Store.
  • This app of UIDAI supports the back-end process for Jeevan Pramaan application.
  • Keep in mind that you have to download the latest supported version (3.6.3) of Aadhaar Face RD app.

Operator authentication

  • Now open Jeevan Pramaan app.
  • You will be redirected to the ‘Operator Authentication’ page.
  • Now enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number and email address.
  • After this, tick the Aadhaar checkbox and then click on ‘Submit’.

OTP verification

  • You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email.
  • Now enter the OTP to authenticate your contact details.

First face scan

  • After authentication, you will be asked to enter your name as per Aadhaar.
  • After this the app will ask for access to the phone’s camera to scan your face.
  • Accept all permissions to proceed.

Pensioner authentication

  • After face scan, you will reach the pensioner authentication page.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number and your email ID here.
  • Then click on ‘Submit’ and wait for another OTP to come on your mobile for verification.

Pensioner details

  • After submitting OTP, fill the pensioner details:
  • Fill all the required details like name, type of pension, PPO number, pension account number.
  • Now select your disbursing agency
  • Submit the form after verifying all the information.

Final face scan

  • You will be asked for a second face scan for pensioner verification.
  • Once the scan is complete, you will receive a confirmation of submission of your Digital Life Certificate.
  • You will receive the proof ID and PPO number as an acknowledgement number on your mobile.
