Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, has announced a new service for Ram devotees. Air India Express is going to operate flights between Delhi to Ayodhya Flights. Travelers to go to Ayodhya can avail this facility from 30th December. Air India Express customers can travel from the national capital to Ram Nagar every day from January 16.
Air India Express said that on December 30, flights from the national capital to Ayodhya were announced and daily service will be started on this route from January 16. The airline said Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya has an extended runway, which is suitable for operating A-321/B-737 type aircraft.
What will be the timing of the flight?
Giving information on Wednesday, Air India Express said that the inaugural flight IX 2789 will depart from Delhi at 11:00 am on December 30 and land in Ayodhya at 12:20 pm. IX 1769 from Ayodhya will depart for Delhi at 12:50 hrs and reach at 14:10 hrs. The airline’s MD Alok Singh said that Air India Express is excited to start operations from Ayodhya immediately after the opening of the airport. This will help in increasing connectivity with Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities of the country.

Indigo will also start service
A few days ago, Indigo had also announced flight service for Ayodhya. IndiGo aircraft will take its first inaugural flight from Delhi to Ayodhya on December 30. Indigo said that commercial flights services will be started from January 6. This service will start between Delhi, Ahmedabad and Ayodhya.
License issued on 14th December
It is noteworthy that the subsidiary company of Air India operates more than 300 flights daily. It has a fleet of 59 aircraft. Let us inform that on December 14, aviation regulator DGCA had issued the aerodrome license for the upcoming Ayodhya Airport, which has been developed by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) at a cost of about Rs 350 crore.
