Delhi Metro’s timing has changed, check the time table before traveling on these routes

Delhi Metro Time Table: There is going to be a big change in the timing of Delhi Metro from 25th August i.e. Sunday. Delhi Metro has informed that on the Phase-3 corridors where metro services were available from 8 am on Sundays, now metro services on these corridors will start from 6:00 am.

Delhi Metro has taken the decision to change the timing keeping in mind the convenience of the local people and the candidates appearing in the competitive examinations held in Delhi.

Giving information on the social media platform X, Delhi Metro has said, “Regular metro services on Phase-3 corridor used to start from 8:00 am on Sundays. Now it has been revised from this Sunday i.e. 25 August 2024. This time table will not only benefit the passengers but also the students appearing in various competitive examinations. Generally competitive examinations are held on Sundays. In such a situation, this time table will facilitate them in reaching their examination centers in Delhi-NCR.

Delhi Metro further said that services on all other corridors of the Metro network will continue to run as per the regular start time of 06:00 AM.

Travelling will become easier with ‘One India, One Ticket’

Passengers traveling in Namo Bharat Train and Delhi Metro Now passengers booking Namo Bharat Train tickets through RRTS Connect app can also book Delhi Metro tickets. Similarly, passengers booking Delhi Metro tickets through DMRC mobile app can also book Namo Bharat Train tickets.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Wednesday signed an MoU to integrate their ticketing systems, allowing Delhi-NCR residents to travel seamlessly across the two destinations. The collaboration is in line with the ‘One India, One Ticket’ initiative, which will allow commuters to book QR code tickets for NaMo Bharat and Delhi Metro on a single platform.
