Giving information about this today, DMRC said that this problem will persist throughout the day. The Delhi Metro’s Blue Line connects Delhi’s Dwarka to Noida and Ghaziabad’s Vaishali.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) posted on social media platform X on Thursday morning informing about the cable theft between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar on the Blue Line route. The DMRC said that the problem will be fixed only after the train services end at night. During the day, trains on the affected route will run at limited speed, so there will be some delay in services.
DMRC regrets the inconvenience caused and has requested passengers to plan their journey accordingly as the travel time will be some extra.
Let us tell you that this is not the first incident. Earlier also, cases of theft of cables of metro trains have been reported at different places. Despite the claims of very tight and tight security, such incidents raise questions on the police and security agencies.
