Because the festival of colors Holi has come in the country and due to which the services of Delhi Metro will not be available for a few hours from morning on Wednesday. Metro services will start at 2:30 pm on the day of Holi being celebrated on March 8 this year. This decision has been taken so that Metro employees and people can celebrate the festival of Holi.

In a statement, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that on the day of Holi festival, i.e. March 8, 2023 (Wednesday), Metro services will not be available on all lines of Delhi Metro including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line till 02.30 PM Will stay DMRC said that metro train services will start at 2:30 pm from terminal stations on all lines on that day and will continue as normal thereafter.

Strict action will be taken against the hooligans

Delhi Police has issued guidelines for celebrating Holi. Strict action will be taken against those who create hooliganism on the day of the festival. Along with this, the government has taken a big step against the adulterated sweets available on Holi.

In view of Holi, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has instructed the state government to install mobile food testing vans in the markets and get the samples tested. Now the Delhi Food Safety Department has started its preparations regarding this. Every day more than 110 samples are being collected and their testing is also being done.

Passengers should use other means of transport

Delhi Metro has already issued updated information for its passengers before Holi. So that the passengers traveling daily on the day of Holi do not face any problem. In such a situation, passengers will have to take special care that they should use other means of transport instead of metro in the morning on Holi. Lest it happen that they leave for the metro and from there they have to return with disappointment.
