The highest fine for using emergency alarm without any reason
DMRC has made many rules for passengers to travel in Delhi Metro. Passengers have to follow them. Along with that, Delhi Metro has also made some arrangements for the convenience of passengers inside the metro. If a passenger falls ill during the metro journey or any other incident occurs, then he can inform the metro driver by using the emergency alarm.
For this, an emergency alarm is set up inside the metro. Using this, the passenger can directly talk to the metro driver. But there are many people who are in a mood of fun and frolic in the metro and in such a situation they do such things. But misusing the emergency alarm can be very costly. DMRC imposes a fine of Rs 10,000 for doing this.

There are different fines for breaking different rules in Delhi Metro. A fine of Rs 50 has to be paid for travelling without a ticket. There is a fine of Rs 200 for sitting on the floor of the metro. A fine of Rs 200 is imposed for bringing or consuming alcohol in the metro. DMRC imposes a fine of Rs 200 for creating a ruckus, spitting, fighting in the metro. A fine of Rs 500 is imposed for obstructing an official in his duty. On the other hand, a fine of Rs 250 has to be paid if a male passenger boards a coach reserved for women.
