Let us tell you that on 28 June this year, the operation of planes was stopped due to the collapse of a part of the roof (canopy) of Terminal-1 during the rain.

13 SpiceJet planes will start operating

Let us tell you that currently 13 SpiceJet planes will start operating from Delhi Airport T-1. Whereas 34 Indigo Airlines planes will fly from September 2. In this regard, GMR has said that flights will be increased in the coming days. So that the crowd at Terminal-2 and Terminal-3 can be reduced.

A part of the roof fell on June 28

Let us tell you that on June 28, during the rain, the operation of aircraft was stopped due to the collapse of a part of the roof (canopy) of Terminal-1. Due to the temporary closure of T1 for 50 days, the number of passengers at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport had increased a lot. In such a situation, the reopening of T1 after 50 days is a comforting news for air travelers.

Construction started in 2019

The work of building this new part at Delhi Airport Terminal-1 by DIAL started in the year 2019. It was built in view of the increasing number of passengers at the airport. All arrangements have been made in Terminal-1 keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, so that their check-in and security check etc. can be done comfortably and they can reach their flight on time.
