Now such news has come related to this Delhi airport which can make the air passengers happy.

Artificial Intelligence will be used at Delhi Airport

In view of the increasing movement of air passengers at Delhi Airport, Artificial Intelligence (AI) based analysis and camera based solutions will be used to improve airport operations. Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, Chief Executive Officer of Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the company that operates the country’s largest airport, gave this information. The special thing is that this will save time for passengers at the airport and they will be able to get more facilities with the help of advanced technology.

Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of DIAL, said, “We are looking at adopting more digital solutions for airport operations. These solutions can be based on Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence. We are looking to improve airport operations. “Estimators will use analysis to do this.”

Delhi airport serves more than 7 crore air passengers

About 1500 flights operate daily at Delhi Airport. The movement of passengers here is also expected to increase to more than 7 crores by the end of the current financial year. Flights operate from three terminals at this airport – T1, T2 and T3. In view of the increasing crowd at Delhi Airport, DIAL is trying to improve its operations so that air passengers can travel through the airport with better facilities.

There was a problem in the winter of 2022

Last year, during the winter season, passengers had to face a lot of inconvenience due to increased crowd at Delhi Airport. Jaipuriar said that within 15 days of last year’s incident, the number of passenger entry gates at Delhi Airport was increased.

European system will also be used at Delhi airport

Apart from this, the Airport Operation Center (APOC) system used in Europe is also being implemented. With the help of this system, it can be estimated how many passengers can be present at the airport at a particular time. Based on this, necessary preparations can be made in advance.

DIAL Chief said, “With this system, the airport management will get the forecast of the day in advance. By sharing it with the airport authority, necessary people can be deployed. We are in the process of implementing it.”
