On the instructions of the Chief Minister and Minister in charge of Finance Department Bhupesh Baghel, the Finance Department has issued an order to increase the DA. The increased rate of DA will be effective from the current month of October. The amount of the increased inflation rate will be paid in cash from October 1, 2022.
After the increase of five percent in DA, those who get salary from the seventh pay scale in the state will get 33 percent dearness allowance. This order of increase in dearness allowance will also be applicable for UGC, AICTE and contingency salary employees. At the same time, the Employees Association of Chhattisgarh State has expressed happiness over this decision of the government.

The Finance Department has issued a circular regarding the increase in dearness allowance to all the departments of the state government, Chairman, Revenue Board, Bilaspur, all the Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and Collectors. At the same time, those in the sixth pay scale were being given dearness allowance at the rate of 189 percent.

The 14th meeting of the State Management Committee of Sainik Welfare Board Chhattisgarh was held at Raj Bhavan.
