Minister Mohan Yadav said that the pensioners of Government University in Madhya Pradesh were demanding a settlement in dearness allowance for a long time. which has been completed. 201% dearness allowance on pension in sixth pay scale
On the basis of the consent given by the Government University of the state for annual contribution to the Corpus Fund, 201% dearness allowance will be made available on the pension in the sixth pay scale from June 1 to the pensioners of the university. Minister Mohan Yadav has made it clear that all retired professors and employees of the university should get salary according to the seventh pay scale. Efforts are being made for this.
The government had given assurance
From May 15 to June 2, university officials, employees, teachers were agitating in the state for their demands, including pension from the Seventh Pay Commission. After the assurance of the state government, this movement which lasted for 18 days has been called off. The government had assured that the demand for giving pension from the seventh pay scale to the employees would be placed in the cabinet in the next 3 months.
Orders have been issued to provide pension with 201% dearness relief to the pensioners according to the sixth pay scale from June 2023 till the decision is taken in the matter. Instructions have been given by the department to give the amount as contribution to the university. Along with this, an increase in their pension will be seen. Along with this, once again the amount will increase in his account.
DA can be increased at the rate of 4 percent
The government may soon announce an increase in dearness allowance for the employees of Madhya Pradesh. Dearness allowance can be increased at the rate of 4 percent. At present, the benefit of 38 per cent dearness allowance is being made available to the employees of the state while 42 per cent dearness allowance is being made available to the central government employees.
