On Tuesday, it was announced to increase the DA of government employees of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to 38 percent. Dearness Allowance will be effective from January 1, 2022. In an order issued by the Secretary of the Finance Department, it was said that on the basis of the recommendation of 7th Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission) of regular working government employees, Dearness Allowance has been increased from 34 percent to 38 percent.

Crores of government employees and pensioners will benefit from this decision of the central and various state governments. The next dearness allowance of central government employees will be due in January 2023. However, it is expected to be announced in March 2023.
