Central government employees are waiting for the decision on dearness allowance for the first half of this year. It is expected that the government will announce the decision on the allowance of central employees in the month of March. Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh government has issued an order to increase the dearness allowance of state government employees by four percent.
Payment from February:
After the order of the government, from January 1, 2023, the rate of dearness allowance will increase to a total of 38 percent and the payment will be from the month of February 2023.Let us tell you that at present dearness allowance is being given at the rate of 34 percent. The new decision of the government will benefit more than 7 lakh employees of the state.
Along with this, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has also given instructions that the expenditure on payment of dearness allowance to government servants should not exceed the provision of the approved budget of the concerned department for the current financial year.
