DA Hike Today: Govt order to hike da 9 percent of govt employees, approved the proposal

DA Hike Latest Update Today Government employees across the country are looking towards the government with hope that when the order for increase in dearness allowance will be issued.

The patience of government employees is breaking and now they are thinking of taking the path of agitation. On the other hand, the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand had taken a big decision regarding the dearness allowance of government employees in the cabinet meeting held recently. In the meeting, the government had approved the proposal of 9 percent increase in the dearness allowance of employees.

DA Hike Latest Update Today Actually, the Hemant Soren government took this decision in the cabinet meeting held on 29 August. Let us tell you that under the sixth central pay scale in Jharkhand, government employees used to get 230% dearness allowance. After which now the government has decided to increase it by 9 percent to 239%.

Apart from this, it was also decided to honour the families of the martyred Agniveers of Jharkhand like the Jharkhand Police. Hemant Soren said, “The Government of India has brought the Agniveer Yojana. What happened in the country in protest against this is not hidden from anyone. Today his government has decided that the families of the martyred Agniveers of Jharkhand will be honoured like the Jharkhand Police.”

Let us tell you that 44 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday. It was decided in the meeting that the rates of dearness allowance will be increased from January 1, 2024, under the Sixth Central Pay Commission for state government personnel. The new rates have been increased from 230 percent to 239 percent. Employees will soon get the benefit of these new rates along with arrears.
