DA Hike Delhi: The government of Delhi has given a big gift to its employees before Diwali. In the meeting of the Delhi government, DA i.e. dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent.
In Delhi, the state government led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has followed in the footsteps of the central government. It has announced an increase of 4 percent in the Dearness Allowance of all its government employees.
Government order issued
The Delhi government has issued an order regarding this gift given to the employees of the state government before Diwali. According to an official order, the Finance Department of Delhi has also sent the details of hike in Dearness Allowance to their respective departments and autonomous bodies as per the rates revised by the Central Government.
Karnataka had given good news
It is worth noting that earlier the state government of Karnataka had also increased the dearness allowance of its employees. Recently, an increase of 3.75 percent was approved in the dearness allowance of the employees of the Bomai government of the state. At present, the employees of Karnataka government get dearness allowance of 27.25 percent of their basic salary, which has increased to 31 percent.
Center took the decision last month
Last month, on September 28, in the meeting of the Union Cabinet, it was announced to increase the dearness allowance at the rate of 4 percent to the central government employees and pensioners. Then Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Central Government employees and pensioners will be entitled to the increased amount of DA and DR from July 1, 2022. At the same time, according to the order of the government, under this, dearness allowance (DA Hike News) and relief installment at the rate of four percent will be released for all central government employees and pensioners (7th Pay Commission Latest News). This item will put an additional burden of Rs 12,852 crore on the central exchequer every year.
DA increased in Rajasthan too
Just as the central government had announced a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance for its employees, on the same day the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan had also approved a four percent increase in dearness allowance for the employees and pensioners of the state of Rajasthan.
