7th Pay Commission: The new year 2025 has begun. Along with this, just before the new year, the Manipur government has given a big gift to its government employees.
In fact, while giving a New Year gift to the state employees, the Manipur government has decided to increase the dearness allowance by 7 percent (Manipur DA Hike). Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced this on Tuesday (December 31).
With this increase, the DA of Manipur government employees will increase to 39 percent. At present, central employees get 53 percent dearness allowance. In this context, Manipur government employees are getting 14 percent less allowance than the center.
Rs 50,000 loan without any collateral to people displaced by violence
Singh also spoke about several current government initiatives ranging from supporting entrepreneurs to startup ventures. He said that the state government has given loans without any collateral to 426 internally displaced people under the Chief Minister’s Enterprise Assistance Scheme. Under this programme, the government is giving loans of Rs 50,000 without any collateral to people displaced by communal violence.
Startups ready to provide employment to 432 displaced people
The Chief Minister said that so far about seven startups have been identified and they are ready to provide employment to 432 displaced people. The Chief Minister also said that about 500 youth in Delhi will be given residential skill training to join Air India and IndiGo as flight crew members.
