DA Arrears Update – Update on 18 months DA Arrears, will be paid in three installments

There is good news for the employees. Actually their dearness allowance will be paid. Orders have been issued for this. Orders have been issued by the state government to release the pending DA of the employees. Along with this, a lump sum amount will be seen in their account. Their arrears will be paid in three equal instalments.

Increase in DA by 2.73% –

Actually the order has been issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh on 1st May. Under which dearness allowance was increased by 2.73%. From July 1, 2023, every government employee-pensioner will be given the benefit of dearness allowance and dearness relief.

The Dearness Allowance of employees and Dearness Relief of pensioners was increased by 2.73% by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. An order has been issued for this. With this, the total dearness allowance of the employees has increased to a record 22.75 percent. The same arrears from January 2022 to June 2023 are also to be paid to the employees.

Payment of arrears in 3 equal installments-

Dearness Allowance will be paid with the month of July. Also, the outstanding arrears from January 2022 to June 2023 will be paid to Andhra employees. Along with this, the arrears of 18 months are to be paid in three equal installments in September 2023, December 2023 and March 2024. Orders have also been issued to pay the arrears of 18 months in 3 equal installments.

With the government issuing the order, the office-bearers of the Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Federation have thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for releasing the pending DA dues. At the same time, from July, the employees will get the benefit of increased dearness allowance, while from September 2023, they will be paid arrears. Along with this, a lump sum amount of Rs 40 to 45 thousand will be seen in his account.
