DA increased to 20.2% The Telangana government has increased the DA and DA of employees and pensioners by 2.73%. After this increase, the DA of the employees has increased from 17.29% to 20.2%. State Finance Minister Harish Rao told that this increase will be implemented from July 1, 2021. This money will be deposited in the GPF account of the employees in 8 installments.

Such employees are exempted from making any contribution to General Provident Fund (GPF) in the last 4 months of service. The Finance Minister said that this decision of the government will benefit 4.4 lakh employees and 2.28 lakh pensioners.
