There is good news for central employees, if you are also waiting for 18 months pending DA arrears, then you can get great news in the month of November itself. An announcement can be made regarding the stuck DA arrears in the cabinet secretary meeting. The representatives of the employees and pensioners union will recommend the payment of dues in the meeting.

Let us tell you that consent has not yet been made by the government on this payment, but it is expected that soon an agreement can be made to give this money. Employees are to be given three installments between January 2020 and June 2021.

The money will be available in three installments, the minimum salary of central employees is Rs 18000. If you tell about its dues, then (Rs 4320 + 3240 + 4320) you will get Rs 11,880. It is believed that the first installment for January to July 2020 will be Rs 4320. The arrears between July and December 2020 will be Rs 3,240 and between January and July 2021 will be Rs 4,320.

Recently the DA has increased

Recently, the Central Government has increased the DA of the employees. The government has increased dearness allowance by 4 percent, after which the employees are getting DA at the rate of 38 percent. Apart from this, in January 2023, the DA of the employees will be increased again.

It is happening for one and a half years, the employees had also appealed in the court regarding the demand for DA arrears. On this, the Supreme Court had asked the government to consider saying that this is the right of the employees, it can be frozen but cannot be stopped. The employees have been demanding this for the last one and a half years.
