New prices of commercial cylinders in four metros

Indane’s 19 kg cylinder in Delhi will now be available for Rs 1859.5 instead of Rs 1885. Whereas in Kolkata the commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1995.50. Earlier it was available in 1959 for Rs. In Mumbai, a commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1811.5 instead of Rs 1844. In Chennai, LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 2009.50. Earlier this cylinder was available here for Rs 2045.

Price has been decreasing continuously for 6 months

The price of commercial cylinders has been reduced for the sixth consecutive month. Its price had reached Rs 2354 in May, but since then it has been continuously cut. With the reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders, it is expected that eating and drinking outside can be cheaper. It is used in hotels, restaurants and dhabas. But with the continuous increase in the prices of other commodities, it is being expected less.

Natural gas price hike

Natural gas prices have risen by 40 percent to a record high. Now the prices of CNG and PNG gas reaching the kitchen through pipes may increase. The price of gas from old fields of ONGC and OIL has increased from US$ 6.1 to US$ 8.57 per mmBtu. The PPAC order said that the gas rates of Reliance-BP have increased to US$ 12.46.

Record increase of 40 percent in prices
